My journey into Montessori education is both personal and professional. I was fortunate to experience Montessori as a child myself, attending Montessori school from age 3 through 8th grade. It was an incredible experience that allowed me to understand how I learned best, develop independence and confidence, and discover what I needed to be successful as a learner.
Montessori was not part of my original career plan—I had intended to attend medical school—but after returning home to help my family and my grandmother, I was given the opportunity to complete Montessori teacher training and quickly fell in love with helping children learn. I completed my Montessori Children’s House certification in 2012, my Lower Elementary certification in 2018, and earned my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education in 2025. I believe Montessori education is truly remarkable because it recognizes each child as a unique individual and allows them to be an integral part of their own learning journey. My greatest joy is helping children discover their strengths, develop confidence, and build a lifelong love of learning. Outside of the classroom, I am an avid reader, happy wife and the proud mom of three amazing Montessori children who continue to inspire me every day.
